Meet 6 notorious criminals — how they looked then and now

The California Department of Corrections this week released an updated mug shot of music impresario Phil Spector, 74, who’s currently serving 19 years to life for the 2003 murder of actress Lana Clarkson.

The startling photograph of the aging, balding record producer appears to show the toll his incarceration has taken on his health.

Check out five other infamous criminals currently behind bars — and the way they looked before they achieved infamy.

Now 47 and serving life without parole at New York’s maximum-security Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, the inspiration for Nicole Kidman’s diabolical character in the 1995 movie “To Die For” no longer resembles her former tabloid image as a tantalizing temptress.

The former New Hampshire schools administrator, who in 1990 persuaded her teenage lover William “Billy” Flynn to kill her husband, Gregg Smart, looked strained — her curly blond hair pulled back from her face — in a July 2014 interview with People magazine.

The disgraced football star, once known for his sleek physique and rock-hard muscle tone, has turned to flab inside his Lovelock, Nev., prison.

The 67-year-old felon is serving 10-to-25 years for armed robbery and kidnapping after justice caught up with him — at least for this particular crime — in 2008.

According to reports, he has high blood pressure, diabetes and can barely walk due to damage to his joints from his long-gone days as a sports hero.

Currently languishing in a California jail, the 79-year-old former leader of the sinister “Manson Family” cult was convicted in 1971 of murder and conspiracy in the slayings of seven people, including the pregnant actress Sharon Tate.

In a recent mug shot, the elderly one-time musician appeared with his trademark unkempt bushy beard, and showed off a prison-inked swastika tattoo on his forehead.

A video emerged this week of the 27-year-old convicted murderer looking bloated and bleary-eyed while sporting a mohawk haircut and unkempt beard.

The father-to-be — who married a Peruvian woman in July — is serving a 28-year sentence for killing student Stephany Ramírez in Lima in 2010.

The prime suspect in the unsolved disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway had a fresh-faced, boy-next-door look when he shot to infamy in 2005.

The schlubby former security guard, who shot John Lennon to death in 1980, appears to have slimmed down since beginning his 20-years-to-life sentence the following year.

Now 59, Chapman, who claims to have found God and is entitled to parole hearings every two years, has ditched his nerdy glasses and looks more like an average Joe.
