Mom threatened to blow up school because daughter flunked exam: sources

An overzealous Staten Island mom was arrested for threatening to blow up her daughter’s high school because the teen flunked a Regents exam, law-enforcement sources said.

A guidance counselor at Susan E. Wagner HS called high-strung mom Karen Shearon Tuesday morning to tell her that her 15-year-old daughter failed the standardized test, according to sources.

Outraged by the news, Shearon, 48, allegedly snarled, “I’m gonna blow up that school,” the criminal complaint states.

The Manor Heights public school called police, and Shearon was arrested later that night on an aggravated-harassment rap.

Shearon sobbed during her Friday arraignment at Staten Island Criminal Court.

The judge released her without bail.

After the hearing, Shearon denied blowing her fuse.
