3. “The Late Late Show With James Corden”

Tuesday, 12:35 a.m., CBS

The critically acclaimed British actor and comedian picks up where Craig Ferguson left off. Married with two children, Corden had a successful television career in his native England, winning many awards before gracing American shores. He can probably handle himself in front of a studio audience and offers a cheeky alternative to the superannuated frat-boy delivery of late-night talkers Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers.

A man for all stages:

★ Corden won a Tony for Best Actor in a Play for “One Man, Two Guvnors,” beating out Philip Seymour Hoffman for “Death of a Salesman.”

★ Corden was in the all-star film version of the Sondheim musical “Into the Woods,” with Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick and Johnny Depp.

★ Corden’s next film will be “The Lady in the Van” with Maggie Smith (“Downton Abbey”). It opens in December.

4. “Girls”

Sunday, 9 p.m., HBO

Hannah (Lena Dunham) Adam (Adam Driver) and Jessa (Jemima Kirke) each try to convince Caroline (Gaby Hoffmann) and Laird (Jon Glaser) to forgo their planned home birth and get to a hospital. Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) faces a crucial decision when presented with a unique job opportunity. After Marnie (Allison Williams) and Desi’s (Ebon-Moss Bachrach) meeting with a record label exec, Ray lets Desi know what he really thinks of him. Season finale.

5. “Nashville”

Wednesday, 10 p.m., ABC

The cast of “Nashville” takes a break from the melodrama to do what they do best: play music, on stage at the Grand Ole Opry. You will hear Maddie (Lennon Stella), Daphne (Maisy Stella) and Deacon (Charles Esten), among many others, sing of country- western heartache. In case you don’t think any of these actors is big enough to command the stage at the Opry, the show is bringing on one superstar: Miss Reba McEntire, who will sing a new song, “Going Out Like That.”

6. “Modern Family”

Wednesday, 9 p.m., ABC

Spring break has Claire (Julie Bowen) doing some cleaning, while Phil (Ty Burrell) struggles with not being a spring chicken when Luke (Nolan Gould) starts outperforming him at seemingly everything. 8. “The Good Wife”

Sunday, 9 p.m., CBS

Alicia’s (Julianna Margulies) future is on the line when her husband Peter (Chris Noth) gives an interview that could influence voter turnout on Election Day.
