Woman busted for bomb plot scoured city for targets: source

One of the allegedly ISIS-crazed Queens women busted by the FBI last week made regular bus trips to Manhattan to scope out potential terror targets and escape routes, sources told The Post on Monday.

Noelle Velentzas, 28, clutched a copy of the Koran during the trips, which took her to several different areas, including 14th Street and Third Avenue, the sources said.

“We thought she was looking for targets, doing a dry run or checking for escape routes,” said one law-enforcement source familiar with her movements. “The thing that scared us most was that we didn’t know what she was really up to.”

Velentzas and ex-roommate Asia Siddiqui were arrested last week for allegedly plotting to detonate a bomb in New York City.
