Kristaps Porzingis’ FIFA trash-talk is hilariously violent, graphic

Kristaps Porzingis definitely has the killer instinct.

The Knicks rookie, sidelined (perhaps for the season’s remainder) by a right shoulder strain, is letting his competitive urges flow elsewhere, his 7-foot-3 stature slumped in a chair, eyes fixated on a TV.

The 20-year-old who has captured the imagination of New York basketball, letting it believe the Knicks might have finally done something right, shows just how important winning is to him in a video from Kevin Seraphin’s Snapchat. Porzingis, an avid FIFA fan, explains how dominant he is at the video game bent on finger twitching.

Porzingis, speaking to the camera to hype himself, explains that Sasha Vujacic beat him, a fact he swallows with gravitas, a regret like he lost a loved one. He won’t let this happen again.

“Every champ once in a while falls down,” Porzingis says. “I can’t wait to get another chance. I’m gonna eat him alive. Sasha doesn’t know what he’s getting into.”

The reserve guard really, really doesn’t. Porzingis is a mad man, so overcome by FIFA focus he plots out just how he’ll (metaphorically!) destroy Vujacic.

“I’m going to come back and murder him,” Porzingis says. “Eat him like a gazelle. You’re going to watch him bleed.”

Porzingis vs. Vujacic sounds a whole lot more interesting than Knicks vs. anyone these days.
