Plaza Hotel chops chef Geoffrey Zakarian

Celebrity chef Geoffrey Zakarian says he has been bounced from The Plaza hotel.

The Food Network personality’s company, Avignon Enterprises, was hired in 2013 to reinvent the hotel’s Palm Court and Oak Room.

Zakarian has been barred from the premises and his five-year contract was terminated last month without cause, he says in a Manhattan Supreme Court lawsuit.

Zakarian wants $1.6 million in damages and a court order letting him back into The Plaza.

The hotel did not respond to a request for comment.
