Fashion CEO, wife sue construction company over botched $600K renovations

The CEO of trendy fashion label Haute Hippie and his designer wife are suing the construction company they hired to renovate their $6.1 million Greenwich Village town house for allegedly failing to perform “virtually every aspect of the project,” court papers charge.

Jesse Cole and Trish Westcoat-Pound, who designs the company’s signature 1920s-inspired flapper dresses, claim that they paid Robert Bagdadi of Apollo Builders more than $600,000 for the overhaul of West 11th Street home.

Instead, the couple ended up with “slipshod” work, according to the suit filed Friday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

“Apollo grossly failed to perform virtually every aspect . . . resulting in dangerous defects and Code violations,” court papers charge.

Bagdadi couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.
