Armed man in Halloween mask robs store

A gun-toting robber sporting a purple Halloween mask stuck up a convenience store in Queens Sunday, authorities said.

The thief walked into a 7-Eleven on Hillside Ave. near Springfield Blvd. in Queens Village with the mask covering his face and a hood pulled tightly over his head around 2:30 a.m.

He then threatened to shoot the clerk working behind the counter and demanded money.

The worker emptied an undetermined amount of money from the register and gave it to the fiend, who then fled the store.

Besides the purple mask covering his mug, the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie and gray jeans.

No arrests have been made.
