Junkie’s jarring mugshot is a PSA about the dangers of meth

The arrest of a homeless Manhattan man who went on a drug-fueled bender outside the Holland Tunnel is Exhibit A for why drugs are bad for you, police say.

Keith Semiday, 42, who was free on bail in connection with an assault arrest last month, was busted anew by Port Authority cops at 5:50 a.m. Tuesday after he smoked crystal meth and tried entering strangers’ cars outside the Holland Tunnel toll booth, in Jersey City, police officials say.

When he sought to climb into the rear left door of a blue sedan at a toll booth, PAPD cops tackled Semiday and placed him under arrest.

Not too long ago, Semiday was a muscle-bound gym rat — but the ravages of his drug-use appear all too clear in his most recent mug shot, sources say.

“This guy once used to be all buff and musclebound like he was ‘The Hulk,'” said one source, referring to the Marvel super hero. “Now he looks like a poster boy for why you should not do drugs.”

Semiday has a 34-page wrap sheet with an array of arrests locally and in Connecticut for such crimes as robbery, assault, weapons possession and fraud. He was free on $500 bail for an October 24 assault arrest.

His most recent alleged criminal escapade led to new charges that include being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Semiday is being held on $5,000 bail at the Hudson County jail.
