Congress is preparing to undo his signature legislative accomplishment, but former President Barack Obama is having a ball in Bali.

Photos show the Obama family — daughters Sasha, 16, and Malia, 18, and wife Michelle — being enveloped by throngs of people Tuesday as they visited the Tirtha Empul temple at Tampaksiring Village in Bali.

In other photos, Obama can be seen high-fiving one of the spectators and Sasha and Malia wearing brightly colored sarongs.

The former first family arrived in Indonesia, where Obama lived for several years as a child beginning in 1967, last week for a nine-day vacation.

Obama is literally a world away from Washington, DC, where the Senate is working on repealing and replacing ObamaCare, with a vote expected this week.

Indonesian President Joko Widodi invited Obama to come to the Southeast Asian nation after leaving the White House to visit the Bogor Palace. Obama is expected to speak to the Indonesian Diaspora Congress in Jakarta on Saturday.

But he’s clearly spending more time on pleasure than business during the getaway.

On Monday, the Obama family took a whitewater rafting trip on the Ayung River.

The former president has kept busy enjoying his time out of the White House.

He’s been spotted on a yacht with Tom Hanks and Bruce Springsteen in French Polynesia, kite-surfing with billionaire Richard Branson in the British Virgin Islands and enjoying the sights in Tuscany.

In March, Obama visited Tetiaroa, an island once owned by Marlon Brando in the South Pacific, and stayed at an exclusive luxury resort called The Brando that offers “35 villas on white-sand beaches frequented by sea turtles, manta rays and exotic birds.”

He was supposedly working on his presidential memoirs while at the resort.
