Crabs invade airport baggage claim, shocking travelers

Waiting for your baggage can often be a boring task, but passengers who flew into a Caribbean airport were given a shock when dozens of live crabs flooded the carousel.
Footage shows the crabs scuttling among people’s suitcases, with some trying to make a break for freedom.
As the camera pans around the airport, a man appears to be desperately trying to put them back into a container from which they appear to have escaped.
A number of people can be seen taking their own pictures to document the strange occurrence.
One person can be heard saying, “Oh my goodness.”

The footage was uploaded to Facebook by Lionel Bonimy, who says it was taken at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) in the Caribbean.
The caption reads: “Soo, while waiting on my bag at LPIA this afternoon, someone’s cooler of crabs popped open on the conveyor belt and they made a run for it.
“Bahamians may love to eat crab but we sure ain’t trying to catch them lol.”
