Trump’s sons join him in going after CNN on Twitter

The Trumps are tag teaming CNN.

Even as President Trump tweeted a video of him slamming to the floor a man with a CNN logo superimposed over his face, his sons took to the social messaging site on Sunday to blast the cable news network for being part of the “fake news” media.

“I love how CNN looks to #1A [First Amendment] as a justification to not uphold basic journalistic integrity or an ethical standard #FakeNews,” Eric Trump tweeted on Sunday.

He was responding to an earlier message from CNN reporter Jim Acosta.

“Hope you are enjoying #4thofjulyweekend and celebrating our cherished #1A freedoms enshrined in our Constitution which cannot be taken away,” he wrote on his private account, referring to the First Amendment.

Later, after his father tweeted out the video from WrestleMania in 2007 when he body-slammed World Wrestling Entertainment head Vince McMahon, Eric Trump retweeted it.

Then Donald Trump Jr. took a shot at Acosta, who tweeted about the video: “Isn’t pro wrestling fake?”

“Yes, just like your coverage,” Trump Jr. responded.
