‘Bachelor’ star allegedly took pills and booze before pool romp

“Bachelor in Paradise” star Corinne Olympios allegedly mixed medication and alcohol during filming, production insiders tell TMZ.

During Saturday’s reunion taping of ABC’s troubled reality show, sources revealed to the gossip site that Olympios, 24, claimed she ingested meds and liquor before her drunken pool romp with fellow contestant DeMario Jackson. Olympios did not specify what she had taken.

The fourth season of “Bachelor in Paradise” was initially shut down earlier this summer after an alleged sexual encounter between Olympios and Jackson, 30. Olympios previously claimed she was too drunk to consent. Following an internal investigation, ABC and Warner Bros. later confirmed no sexual misconduct had taken place.

“We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy,” Warner Bros. said in a statement.

Following the alleged incident, the “Paradise” producers are focused on ensuring the safety of the cast and crew.

“We plan to implement certain changes to the show’s policies and procedures to enhance and further ensure the safety,” said Warner Bros.

Both Jackson and Olympios confirmed in July they would make appearances on the show’s reunion episode.

“I’m doing the ‘Men Tell All’ for ‘The Bachelorette’ and I’ll be doing ‘Paradise’ as well,” Jackson told TMZ. “I owe it to my castmates. They’ve been very supportive of me throughout this whole entire thing and I want to thank them all personally, face-to-face — give them all hugs and bro out or sis out, or whatever. They’ve been so helpful.”

With “Paradise” set to air next week, ABC released extended footage of the upcoming season during Monday’s season finale of “The Bachelorette,” including Jackson and Olympios’ close encounter.

“Thirty minutes into ‘Paradise,’ Corinne and DeMario are already having a blast in the pool,” an unidentified cast member said in the preview. Another asks later, “Are Corinne and DeMario okay?”

“Bachelor in Paradise” premieres Monday, Aug. 14, on ABC.

A rep for Olympios declined to comment.
