Former New York Knicks boss and ex-head of Madison Square Garden Dave Checketts and his wife, Deb, have listed their New Canaan, Conn. estate for $5.59 million.
The massive 9,266-square-foot Georgian-style residence was built in 1994.

It features six bedrooms, seven full bedrooms and two half bathrooms — all on 4.03 acres.
The manse boasts a large chef’s kitchen, a library and, natch, a sports court. In an interview with the New York Times in 2015, Checketts said that out of all the things he’s done, nothing compares to running a sports team.
“It’s much more than running a bank or restaurant,” he said. “Success or failure is based on the performance of human beings that you selected. Nothing else like it.”
Rita Kirby, of William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty, has the listing.
