Costco sells a $388K engagement ring

If you liked it, then you should have got a Costco membership.
At Costco in Canberra, Australia, a diamond ring is being sold for $388,000 ($500,000 AUD).
Sky News reporter Jennifer Bechwati posted a snap of the pricey solitaire stone on Twitter. “It’s in the aisle between bulk AA batteries and dustpans,” she writes.
The post quickly went viral online.
“If I’m spending 1/2 a mil on a ring, I’m defs not buying it from Costco!” writes one Twitter user.
“But you have to buy them in the value six pack,” jokes another.
While the wholesale retailer is known for selling household items in bulk, it’s currently selling engagement rings online for up to $420,000.
