Kobe Bryant just got so much richer

Kobe Bryant isn’t done scoring big.

Following Coca-Cola’s announcement Tuesday that it had purchased a minority stake in BodyArmor, Bryant’s March 2014 investment of $6 million into the fledgling sports drink (roughly 10 percent of the company) is now worth $200 million, according to an ESPN report.

The Lakers legend made his initial investment when the company had made $10 million in sales. This year, BodyArmor is projected to make more than $400 million in sales.

Bryant, who earned nearly $700 million between NBA earnings and endorsement deals, is the fourth-largest investor in BodyArmor, and has formed his own company, Kobe Inc., while forming a $100 million joint venture investment firm.

Bryant, who took home an Oscar for best animated short for his “Dear Basketball” film, also created his own production company, Granity Studios.
