Man strips naked before robbing Manhattan restaurant: cops

Cops are on the lookout for a thief who sneaked into a Gramercy Park restaurant and stripped naked before robbing the place and fleeing the scene.

The suspect entered the side door of Adalya restaurant on Irving Place at about 7 a.m. on July 5 and took all of his clothes off, according to police sources.

After stripping down to his birthday suit, the man robbed $600 from the cash register along with an iPad, phone, and company credit card.

He then dressed himself before leaving the restaurant.

The suspect was described as being about 28 to 35 years old.

He was last seen on surveillance video outside the restaurant while wearing a black shirt, dark-colored shorts, and blue sneakers.
