Lindsey Vonn knows this Tiger Woods resurgence is real

Lindsey Vonn expects Tiger Woods will walk away with a win sooner rather than later.

“I support him. We’re friends, we congratulate each other … it’s really nice to see him playing so well again,” the Olympic skier said Monday to Extra.

With Woods’ career resurgence continuing, finishing in second at the PGA Championship earlier this month, Vonn, 33, believes her ex will be victorious again.

“I think it’s only a matter of time before he does actually win another tournament … after all his injuries and surgeries … that he has come back and fought his way back … he will be at the top again,” she said.

Following their split in 2015, Vonn and Woods, 42, have remained friendly. The decorated Olympic medalist also revealed her current boyfriend, Nashville Predators defenseman P.K. Subban, pursued her after she and Woods parted ways.

“He got my number and was very persistent,” Vonn shared.

Though the pair were first linked in April, Vonn said she and Subban, 29, really connected over the holidays.

“He came to visit me on Christmas Day,” she explained. “That was the first time I spent really good time with him … he went in the lion’s den and met my whole family.”

Vonn and Subban’s summer tour has gone international. Over the Fourth of July holiday, the couple modeled matching swimwear in Italy.
