Danica Patrick reflects on ‘epic’ year with Aaron Rodgers

Danica Patrick summed up her year with boyfriend Aaron Rodgers in one word: “epic.”

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the retired NASCAR driver gushed about her memorable 2018, which included a slew of special memories with the Packers quarterback.

“First half of 2018 was epic! …..surprise trip to Hawaii, last Nascar race at Daytona, meeting the Dalai Lama, last race of my career – Indy 500, immediately after was auction napa valley where I finally got to drink at work😆, and an amazing quick pit stop at Stonehenge,” Patrick, 36, shared with her followers, along with a slideshow of snapshots.

“The last half of the year was just as epic….. Tahoe golf tournament, hosting the espys, lifetime achievement at the kids choice awards, getting our L1 Crossfit certification, beautiful Wyoming, the day my foot finally touched my head, healing old wounds by learning to love England and Europe again, and that time I got Aaron decorate stockings for each other,” she continued.

Although Patrick’s awkward turn as ESPYs host may not be added to her highlight reel, she’s grateful for the opportunity, and for the experiences that lie ahead.

“I can’t believe how amazing this year was. So much love, adventure, joy, growth, and bravery in 2018! Who knows what 2019 will bring…. but I’m ready!” she wrote.

As for Patrick’s holiday season with Rodgers, 35, it appears the pair embraced new traditions without his family. Last week, the quarterback’s estranged brothers, Luke and Jordan, celebrated Christmas with their parents, Ed and Darla, along with their future wives.
