Colton Underwood spends the night with Cassie after reuniting on ‘Bachelor’ finale

Colton Underwood is waking up a new man.

After reuniting with frontrunner Cassie Randolph following a shocking breakup, Colton, the first virgin “Bachelor” in franchise history, took his relationship with Cassie to the next level on part two of Tuesday’s season finale, after sending finalists Tayshia Adams and Hannah Godwin home from Portugal.

“I couldn’t be more excited to spend the night with Cassie, and I can’t wait to see where our relationship can go. I always said I’m waiting for the right heart, and the right person, and that person is Cassie,” Colton shares.

After enjoying a romantic dinner date, Colton and Cassie make their way to the Fantasy Suite, where they spend time together as a couple without cameras documenting their every move.

“I feel so good and I can tell that he loves and cares about me, and that’s so apparent, and it’s not every day that you feel that kind of love for someone,” Cassie gushes of Colton.

Waking up the next day, Colton, who says a gentleman “never kisses and tells,” coyly elaborates on his evening with Cassie.

“I feel like a new man,” Colton explains. “We had an amazing night and we did what was best for our relationship and we grew as a couple. What happened last night was great for our relationship.”

Still very much together, Colton and Cassie later make their first public appearance as a couple in front of a live studio audience. And while Cassie may be wearing a white jumpsuit, the two aren’t rushing to marry just yet.

But before they can run off into the sunset, Colton has one final matter of “Bachelor” business to attend to.

“I know we started this with 30 roses, and I’m looking forward to spending a lifetime of happiness with you,” Colton says before giving Cassie the final rose.
