Convicted bank robber busted in another theft — with a new face

A convicted bank robber is going to have some time to heal up from some apparent plastic surgery, after she was busted Saturday in connection to yet another bank heist, according to officials.

Iconic Facce, who is also known as Jimmy Maurice Lewis, first made headlines in 2008 when she allegedly plotted to rob a string of Alabama banks to finance a sex-change operation, according to AL.com.

Facce was wanted for allegedly robbing a Bacorp South bank in Gulfport, Miss., on March 22 then fleeing on foot, news station WLOX reported.

The 37-year-old seemed to have some recent work done before she was detained Saturday at Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport returning from Mexico. Her mugshot showed what appeared to be a nose job and surgical tape.

The suspect is being held at Harris County Jail in Texas while she awaits extradition to Mississippi.

Facce was sentenced to 51 months in prison in 2008 after she demanded a bank teller in Decatur, Ala., give her at least $20,000, according to AL.com.
