Ski instructor pleads guilty to raping woman, knocking man out cold

A British ski instructor has admitted to raping a woman after knocking her male pal unconscious in a crime so violent that Australian police assumed there were multiple attackers, reports said.

Matthew James Williams, 29, pleaded guilty in court on Tuesday to the horrific attack in the resort town of Jindabyne in New South Wales last July.

Police initially looked for more than one attacker until CCTV footage showed Williams following the victims, tourists in their early 20s, walking from a pub at around 1 a.m., according to court documents.

“How’s it going, mate?” the man asked Williams, who then repeatedly hit him until he was unconscious, the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

He then punched the woman, who screamed, “What do you want? I’ll give you money. Take what you want,” the report states.

She lost consciousness and awoke to find him on top of her before he violently removed her clothes and raped her on the street, according to the reports.

The male friend — who was again knocked to the ground when he tried to stop the attack — eventually stopped a passing car and Williams fled.

Police documents claim Williams went to work the next day and complained, “I had a rough, rough night last night.”

He pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual assault, inflicting actual bodily harm with intent to have sexual intercourse and possessing a prohibited drug when he appeared via video link in the Queanbeyan Local Court. He will be sentenced next month.
