Dwight Howard trade could leave him looking for a new team

Dwight Howard is on the move and could soon be without a team.

The Wizards dealt the eight-time All-Star center to the Grizzles for CJ Miles on Friday night, according to ESPN. The deal saves Memphis $3.1 million in cap space as the team is expected to waive or trade Howard.

Howard played just nine games for Washington last season, his first with the team, because of injury. He underwent surgery — an L4-L5 lumbar microdiscectomy — for a gluteal injury in November but was able to get healthy in time to play again. Howard, who already has played for six teams, is owed $5.6 million for next season after exercising his player option in April.
