Mick Jagger tests new heart valve with artery-clogging meal

Nobody ever accused Mick Jagger of playing it safe. So it was perfectly in character when the Rolling Stones frontman put his refurbished heart valve to the test.

Jagger was en route to Met Life Stadium for a Thursday night Stones performance when he had a yen for an artery-clogging Garden State grease-feast of a breakfast, according to NorthJersey.com.

He made a pit stop at Clifton, NJ’s trucker-friendly 24-hour Tick Tock Diner — where a clock on the roof is sandwiched by the words: “Eat Heavy” — and enjoyed the kind of meal that could have added verisimilitude to the 1973 chestnut “Heartbreaker.”

In April, the 75-year-old rock icon underwent a heart valve procedure, where doctors put in a stent to relieve blockage and treat weakened arteries.

While Jagger might be hiding his high cholesterol habits from his cardiologist, he had no qualms about blasting out details from the MetLife stage.

“So we went to the Tick Tock Diner,” Jagger enthused to the crowd. “We had Taylor ham, egg and cheese! With disco fries and sloppy Joe to go!”

He also dubbed Jersey “the health food capital of the world,” as The Post’s Chuck Arnold reported.

He shocked some local foodies by ID-ing the porky breakfast meat by its NJ-proper name. Even more surprising, though, was Jagger’s ability to dine incognito. Two employees of the Tick Tock failed to spot one of the world’s most recognizable celebrities.

“I didn’t realize that it was them, so I didn’t ask any questions,” a server named Kalliopi, who asked to only be identified by her first name, told NJ.com. “I kind of think they wanted to be low-key.”

At least Jagger didn’t order the “horse meat pie” that he claims to have eaten in the second verse of “Bitch” from the Stones’ classic “Sticky Fingers” album.
