Introducing Mr. and Mrs. West!
On Sunday, Michelle Wie revealed she and fiancé Jonnie West, the son of NBA legend Jerry West, had tied the knot on Saturday in Beverly Hills.
“MR. AND MRS. WEST Y’ALL!!!! I love you HUSBAND with every living thing in my body and I didn’t think I could love you any more, but then I saw you at the end of the aisle and my heart exploded,” the golfer, 29, gushed on Instagram.
Wie, who announced her engagement to West, 30, earlier this year, also shared a collection of shots from the big day, showing off her stunning Nadine Merabi reception dress. She also praised the party’s menu, which included lobster rolls.
“Wish I had time to eat 100 more of these!!” she exclaimed.
Wie and West, the director of basketball operations for the Golden State Warriors, became husband and wife in front of a star-studded crowd, including Genie Bouchard and LPGA pro Danielle Kang, who posted a sweet message to the newlyweds.
“Mr. & Mrs. West congratulations to the beautiful couple and what a fairytale of a wedding.. wishing @themichellewie & @jonniewest4 a lifetime of love and happiness #WieGoesWest,” Kang wrote on Instagram.
Tennis star Bouchard also gave Wie a special shout out.
“SO HAPPY FOR YOU BABY!!!!! You deserve ALL the happiness. ALL OF IT. I’m incredibly proud to call you one of my best friends,” Bouchard shared, adding a note to the groom: “PS – Jonnie when you marry Michelle you also marry all of her crazy friends 🤪 So welcome to the family!!! Lmao. Can’t wait to hang out with both of you for the rest of our lives.”
