‘The Jets broke me’: Twitter goes off after ugliest loss in years

Jets fans chanted “Fire Gase” near the team’s tunnel in Miami Gardens after Sunday’s demoralizing 26-18 loss to the previously winless Dolphins, and social media wasn’t any kinder to first-year head coach Adam Gase.

Plenty fans voiced their frustrations with the Jets during and after the loss, which ranks near the top of worst defeats in franchise history.

The Jets lost to a winless Saints team in 1980 and a winless Colts team in 1991, with both New Orleans and Baltimore finishing those seasons 1-15. The Dolphins — whose roster decisions indicate management is concerned only with securing a high draft pick — are on the same track.
