Trump, Moon discuss ‘grave’ Korea tensions in Saturday phone call

President Trump called South Korean President Moon Jae-in, Saturday morning to discuss the “grave” status of relations with North Korea.

The two leaders talked for 30 minutes, Moon’s spokeswoman said, and agreed that diplomatic outreach to Kim Jong-un and efforts to denuclearize the Korean peninsula should continue.

Satellite images released last week revealed activity at a missile launch facility that Kim had claimed was dismantled in earlier negotiations with Trump.

The regime’s foreign ministry launched a fresh barrage of insults at Trump on Thursday, saying that his use of the term “Rocket Man” in reference to Kim was “the relapse of the dotage of a dotard.”
