Aaron Paul on his essentials: sneakers, mezcal and Gucci

Sure, Aaron Paul may have three Emmys (for playing meth-cooking heartthrob Jesse Pinkman on “Breaking Bad”), several more noms (including one for executive-producing cult-favorite animated series “BoJack Horseman”) and a juicy new role as the dark-and-stormy Caleb on HBO’s “Westworld.” But the 40-year-old hasn’t become another jaded star. The son of a Baptist minister, Paul left Boise, Idaho, for LA at the tender age of 17 — and still enthusiastically embraces the delights of Hollywood. He loves classic cars, stellar watches, signature drinks (in his case, Dos Hombres mezcal, which he owns with “Breaking Bad” co-star Bryan Cranston) — and the occasional Mickey Mouse sweater. Along with his wife, Lauren, and 2-year-old daughter, Story, here are a few of the good things in his world.

“This has been my favorite car since I was a kid, and I finally picked one up on my first date with my wife, Lauren. I may or may not be buried in this thing.”

“It’s sad how much waste is out there. We really need to try and be mindful of what we are doing on a daily basis to this beautiful planet. This is such an easy way to help out, and it keeps things hot or cold. I never leave home without it.”
