Ex-cop accused of killing Rayshard Brooks moved from jail for security concerns

The former Atlanta police officer charged with murder in the shooting death of Rayshard Brooks has been transferred from a jail to another facility amid security concerns before his court appearance Friday, according to a report.

Garrett Rolfe was charged with felony murder, five counts of aggravated assault, one count of first-degree criminal damage to property and four counts of violation of oath after shooting Brooks in the back in the parking lot of a Wendy’s.

Rolfe, who turned himself in Thursday and is being held without bond, was moved from the Fulton County Jail to another facility in metro Atlanta because of security considerations, three law enforcement sources told CNN.
