The Bronx toddler who was burned by an illegal firework that whizzed in the window of his apartment got a special visit from the NYPD and FDNY, officials said Friday.

Officers from the 44th Precinct, Bronx Patrol Borough and the FDNY Community Affairs Unit came bearing a gift basket full of goodies for Adiel Rosario, 3.

A photo of the get-together, which included an appearance by the FDNY’s Fire Safety mascot, was tweeted by the FDNY. It showed little Adiel wearing a toy fire helmet and clutching a blue basketball.

The tot suffered first- and second-degree burns on his arm and received stitches to his bicep when a firework sailed through the window of his Highbridge home. He and his teen sister, who was filming at the time, were at the window watching the illegal display.

On Thursday, police released blurry images of at least four men suspected of setting off the projectiles.

New York City has been rocked by increased firework activity in recent weeks, prompting a crackdown on distributors.
