My Pillow reportedly dropped by big retailers over Mike Lindell’s Trump visit

My Pillow is reportedly getting dropped by retailers including Kohl’s and Bed Bath & Beyond after its founder, Mike Lindell, showed up at the White House last week to discuss alleged election fraud with President Trump.

Lindell, who was photographed at the White House on Friday holding documents that reportedly contained notes about election-related conspiracy theories, said in an interview with conservative Right Side Broadcasting Network that “two companies dropped out” of selling his bedding products.

He did not identify the companies, but said “they have always been good, not like Target, which is the worst company, the stuff they have done to me.”

“I just got off the phone with Bed Bath & Beyond. They’re dropping My Pillow. Just got off the phone not five minutes ago. Kohl’s, all these different places,” Lindell said, according to WCCO, a CBS affiliate in Minnesota where My Pillow is based. “These [companies], they’re scared, like a Bed Bath & Beyond, they’re scared. They were good partners. In fact, I told them, ‘You guys come back anytime you want.’”

In a written statement, a Bed Bath & Beyond spokesperson appeared to signal that MyPillow sales have been weak and failed to make a connection between its decision and the dustup over politics.

“As previously announced, we have been rationalizing our assortment to discontinue a number of underperforming items and brands,” the spokesperson said. “This includes the MyPillow product line. Our decisions are data-driven, customer-inspired and are delivering substantial growth in our key destination categories.”

Kohl’s did not immediately respond to a request for comment. My Pillow also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Nine My Pillow products, including sheets, mattresses and pillows, were listed on Bed Bath & Beyond’s website on Tuesday while Kohl’s lists a My Pillow pillow for $80 to $90.

Lindell also has come under fire from Dominion Voting Systems for publicly claiming that its voting machines were rigged and contributed to the president’s election loss.

In a Jan. 8 cease-and-desist letter from Dominion, the company states, “You have falsely accused Dominion of fraud and ‘stealing millions of votes,’” according to the four-page letter sent by the company’s lawyers. “Your smear campaign against Dominion has been relentless, and you have leveraged your significant social media following to inflict the maximum amount of damage to Dominion’s good name.”
