NYPD release new photo of man wanted in Times Square shooting

Police on Tuesday released a new photo of the man wanted for shooting three innocent bystanders, including a 4-year-old girl, in Times Square as they continue to hunt for him.

The image captures the man identified as Farrakhan Muhammad, 31, clad in black with a hoodie cinched around his head, police said.

Muhammad is accused of firing a gun multiple times during a disagreement in the area of West 44th Street and Seventh Avenue, hitting the girl and two women just before 5 p.m. Saturday, cops said.

Marcela Aldana, 43, of New Jersey, was struck in the left foot, Wendy Magrinat, 23, of Rhode Island, was hit in the right thigh and the 4-year-old girl, Skye Martinez, of Brooklyn, suffered an injury to her left leg.

“I felt really dizzy, and I was losing blood, and I just started screaming, ‘I got shot! I got shot! I don’t want to die! ” Magrinat recalled to The Post earlier this week. “‘I have a 2-year-old, please get my daughter to safety! I have a 2-year-old — I don’t wanna die!’

“I was screaming … ‘Please help me!’ — and people were just recording, they weren’t helping,” the mother said.

Magrinat said she was in Manhattan with her mother, sister and other family members, including her little girl, to celebrate Mother’s Day when the nearby street dispute involving an illegal CD vendor turned violent.

The 4-year-old victim was rushed to a nearby ambulance by a hero NYPD officer Alyssa Vogel, stunning surveillance footage showed.

Vogel, a former school teacher who joined the NYPD four-and-a-half years ago, told The Post the tiny shooting victim was “the strongest little girl I’ve ever seen.”

“This little girl was so strong,” she recalled. “She didn’t even cry once except when we were putting the tourniquet on. She screamed because it’s very painful.”

Police were still searching for Muhammad, a career criminal, Tuesday. He was described as 5-foot-6 and about 160 pounds.

Police sources said he was aiming at his brother during a dispute.
