TikTok bashes Billionaires’ Row apartment asking ‘just $22 million’

Luxury? More like lackluster.

This New York City apartment featured in a TikTok tour is receiving criticism on the social-media platform for being overly expensive, priced at “just $22 million.”

The apartment, located on the famed “Billionaires’ Row” at One57, appears in the video to be just like anything in the city: too small and overpriced.

Nicole Gary, a real estate agent, took to TikTok to show off the condo, giving a tour which included a look at a bedroom, kitchen and living room featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of Central Park.

The minutelong video racked up more than 3 million views last week, and of the 10,000 comments, many were complaints.

“It’s the ‘just 22 million’ for me,” wrote user John Gilbert.

“What a waste of money,” commented another user.

Gary, who lists herself as a luxury real estate agent, has 16,000 followers on TikTok, where she posts tours of other costly condos in NYC.

This apartment sold, despite criticism from the internet, for $19.2 million, according to Realtor.com, shy of its “just $22 million” asking price.

But there’s more than meets the eye. Gary showed off more of the “half-floor residence” on her Instagram account than she did on TikTok. A floor plan included in the listing also shows three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms as well as several walk-in closets and a grand salon.

Instagram users were much more complimentary of the space, wishing both Gary and the new homeowner congratulations.

“This deal meant so much to me,” Gary wrote. “This exact apartment was the vision board I had in my cubicle my first year in real estate nine years ago. Prior to this building being built I had decided that I was going to sell in this building. I worked extremely hard manifested it and it finally came true. This was not an easy deal by any means.”
