Sean McVay’s fiancée reveals low-key night ahead of Super Bowl 2022
Sean McVay and fiancée Veronika Khomyn‘s weekend will look mighty different in a week’s time.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Khomyn chronicled a cozy night in as she and the Rams head coach appeared to lounge at home while watching TV.
“Best nights,” Khomyn captioned the post with a red heart emoji, as McVay appeared to rest his head on a pillow.
One week ago, McVay coached the Rams to a Super Bowl 2022 berth with an NFC Championship win over the 49ers, their division rival. The Rams will play the Bengals at home in Los Angeles next Sunday in Super Bowl 2022.
The Rams’ roster features a collection of NFL superstars, including defensive tackle Aaron Donald, linebacker Von Miller, receivers Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr., and quarterback Matthew Stafford, whom the team acquired in a trade with the Lions back in January 2021.
“We went out and got him because we thought it was a great opportunity to get a player of his magnitude,” McVay previously said of Stafford. “He’s elevated everyone around him. He’s made me a better coach, he’s made his teammates better. No moment’s too big for him, I can tell you that.”
It’s been Super Bowl or bust for the Rams since the season began. Leading up to the NFC Championship, the Rams defeated the now-retired Tom Brady and the Buccaneers in the divisional round of the playoffs. McVay got the win on Sunday, Jan. 23, one day before his 36th birthday.
Khomyn, who has been engaged to the Rams head coach since 2019, later celebrated McVay with an Instagram tribute.
“Happy Birthday to my love,” she gushed at the time.
Perhaps the celebrations will continue for McVay and Khomyn, a luxury real estate agent, next weekend.
