This is a Presidents Cup that Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele’s biggest fans will never forget.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, Nikki Guidish and Maya Schauffele, the significant others of golf stars Cantlay and Schauffele, respectively, shared photos of themselves at the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C., where they hung out with former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.
“Day 3, you’ve got big [shoes] s to fill,” remarked Guidish, who recently announced her engagement to Cantlay, 30.
Maya, who has been married to 28-year-old Schauffele since last July, also posted, “Day 2 at the @presidentscup. It was amazing to meet former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.”
Guidish and Maya have been supporting Team USA throughout the weekend, as it looks to capture its ninth straight victory.
Leading up to the tournament, Guidish and Maya joined their favorite golfers at the Presidents Cup gala, where they mingled with fellow couples, including Collin Morikawa and his fiancée, Katherine Zhu.
It’s been a busy month for Cantlay and Guidish as the couple got engaged in Napa, Calif., in early September.
“My whole heart,” Guidish, a Doctor of Pharmacy, gushed on Instagram at the time.
The Schauffeles joined Cantlay and Guidish for the scenic proposal, with Maya commemorating the memorable trip on social media.
“An amazing trip to Napa. Congratulations @nikki_guidish and @patrickcantlay,” Maya wrote on Instagram. “Xander and I are so happy for you both, and glad we got to celebrate your special moment.”
