I had sex with the world’s most notorious sperm donor — I was desperate

A mother of one admitted she was so eager for a child, she went after “famous” sperm donor Kyle Gordy after failed attempts at a sperm bank.

Victoria, who goes by a pseudonym for privacy, moved to the US from Ukraine in 2015 after scoring a “lifetime” visa through the Green Card lottery. The 30-year-old had a partner at the time, who relocated and attempted to start a family with her, but the pair just couldn’t conceive.

Despite splitting up, Victoria still longed for a child, but the “cup and syringe” method at the sperm banks wasn’t successful.

So, she turned to the next best thing: sleeping with a sperm donor herself.

Coming across Gordy on Instagram — who has fathered 53 children around the world despite being just 31 years old — she knew he was perfect for her needs. She noticed his children were “beautiful” and decided to write to him.

“I was a bit worried at first, as I wanted to get to know him better, but we talked for a long time, and I really liked him,” she told NeedToKnow.Online. “However, one of my main questions, which sealed the deal, was if my child could know about him.”

Gordy assured her “of course” he could be in the kid’s life, which calmed her anxieties as a potential new mom, ultimately deciding to meet up with the sperm donor extraordinaire in Miami.

“I was desperate for a positive result, so instead of using a cup and syringe, we chose to go down the traditional route instead,” she said, adding that she first caught wind of Gordy’s services through a friend. “At first, I was nervous, but after meeting Kyle and talking for some time, I was made to feel very comfortable and it was such a positive experience.”

The unusual arrangement made things quick and easy for Victoria, who was splurging over $3,000 per round when trying to get pregnant through the sperm bank.

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t pregnant, and this completely shocked me because I had prayed so much for a long-awaited baby,” the new mom said of her multiple failed attempts via traditional sperm donation. “I dropped my hands, cried a lot, and it also hit me financially, where I fell into depression and there was no way out.”

But with Gordy, long gone were the “weeks” she spent researching potential donors and getting her hopes up just to be let down.

“We did it again the next day and afterwards, we chatted for a few hours while propping my hips up on some pillows as that’s meant to help the process,” she detailed. “He’s such a funny guy, and while I was unsure I was going to be pregnant [at the end], I felt so confident with him, as he knew exactly what he was doing.”

Ultimately, their steamy sesh was a success — Victoria gave birth to a healthy son, David Matthew, in February this year.

“It’s been enjoyable from start to finish, and it’s been an absolute joy getting to know him,” she said.

Gordy previously told Jam Press that women just “aren’t interested” in dating him, so he turned to sperm donation as his way to contribute to the Earth’s population. While getting into the donation business may have been the nail in the coffin of his dating life, he receives numerous messages online requesting his services.

“The joy I receive from doing this is the best feeling in the world,” Gordy once told Jam Press, emphasizing that he doesn’t interact with the children unless requested. “I regularly receive pictures of the children, so knowing they are doing well is great.”

Exactly a week after the unlikely pair’s getaway, Victoria took a pregnancy test: positive.

“I can’t convey the feeling I felt, as I experienced new sensations in my stomach — but I kept this a secret from everyone apart from Kyle,” she dished, explaining how “surprised” yet happy he was. “It was really a shock for me, and I tried to pull myself together, despite some nerves, since I experienced the threat of a miscarriage twice.”

After revealing she was expecting to her family — who surprisingly didn’t “ask questions” — she booked a trip to Ukraine in March, not knowing what horrors were to come.

Luckily for the mother-to-be, doctors barred her from boarding her flight, informing her at her last checkup that she was too far long and, in fact, about to give birth.

“I remember hugging him and crying, but I didn’t know how many tears of misfortune would follow after this,” she said.

While she was bursting with love as her dream of being a mother became a reality, her family back in Ukraine was about to experience a devastating war.

“I woke up after giving birth and saw my phone was empty, without any congratulations, so I asked my grandmother and in short, she said they were losing connection,” she recalled. “I had mixed feelings, insanely joyful yet in so much pain, because I had a lack of understanding about how much trouble they were in.”

As she counted all his fingers and toes while in the hospital, she tried to wrap her head around the travesty her home country was experiencing in its war with Russia. While her “miracle” baby sleeps, she uses the wee hours of the night to phone her family.

“It’s a terrible feeling when you know that it’s your family in danger and not knowing if they’ve survived,” she said, grateful that she isn’t all alone.

“David helped me cope with all of this: I constantly hugged and kissed him, saying everything would be fine,” she added. “I hope I will one day go to Ukraine with David and be with my family — but for now, I’m thankful to Kyle for making my dreams come true.”
