Here are some nuggets from Mets’ spring training on Monday:
Nido is Neat-o
Tomas Nido finished 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the Mets’ 9-3 exhibition victory over the Marlins at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.
Nido cleared the center field fence for his second homer of the Grapefruit League season.

Nogosek Wild
Stephen Nogosek, who is competing for a bullpen job — he doesn’t have minor league options remaining — walked three batters over 1 ²/₃ innings.
The right-hander also allowed two hits and three earned runs.
Caught My Eye
Darin Ruf has struggled offensively this spring, but went 2-for-3 with a double.
Ruf is batting only .182 in the Grapefruit League after a late start due to wrist soreness.
