Man busted in random NYC subway slashing attack

Cops have busted a man accused of randomly slashing a woman in the face on a Brooklyn train last week.

The attack happened Friday just as a northbound No. 3 train was pulling into the Nostrand Avenue station in Crown Heights around 3:30 p.m., according to police.

Suspect Iking Dennis, 29, leaned toward the 23-year-old victim and — without saying a word — used an unknown object to slash the woman on the face and the top of her arm, police said.

Iking then hopped off the train and ran out of the station in an unknown direction, police said.

The victim stayed on the train until the next stop, Franklin Avenue, where she was met by members of the NYPD, police said.

The woman was transported to Kings County Hospital in stable condition and has since been released, police said.

The young woman said nothing to provoke the attack, according to police.
