Harry Styles stops show so pregnant fan can use restroom — then names her baby
When nature called, this compassionate pop star answered.
Harry Styles, 29, paused his Tuesday night performance so a pregnant fan, Sian, could use the restroom during the “Love on Tour” show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
The moment was captured in a two-minute clip by concertgoer — @daydreamingnic — whose TikTok video has over 600,000 views.
“I think we all agree that it’s important that Sian goes for a wee, don’t we?” Styles sympathized.
The expectant mother asked the “Watermelon Sugar” singer from the audience to help her name the soon-to-be newborn.
Styles excitedly participated in the name game, claiming, “it’s a lot of pressure Sian.”
To get a better gauge of what the baby’s name should be, he asks, “Do you know what you’re having?”
But instead, she answers with a plea that she has to pee.
Styles points to the direction of the bathroom, saying, “You should go for a wee.”
Sian remained hesitant until Styles decided, “I’m going to do this for one time. If you go for a wee, I’m going to stall [the show].”
Harry fans begin to cheer for his kind gesture as the woman gets escorted to the loo.
“Sian, you won’t miss a thing. If you hurry up, you won’t miss a thing,” he promised.
In the meantime, Styles stalls for what he calls “a very strange portion of the show” — reading fan signs at the concert — until the Grammy award winner notices Sian has returned from the restroom, singing, “Here she comes, here she comes.”
He applauds the expectant woman for making her trip to the bathroom “fast” and proceeds back to the name game.
Sian mentions she has no idea of the baby’s gender, but provides the singer with four names to choose from: Stevie, Harley, Rafe and Caleb.
The “As It Was” singer asked concertgoers to cheer for which name they preferred, and Caleb received the most screams.
Styles resumed the show, declaring the name selection: “Job done.”
Over 325 Harries — fans of Harry Styles — commented underneath the TikTok video, admiring the pop singer.
“He is always gentle and kind with pregnant women. So sweet and understanding,” gushed one fane.
“I bet Sian was STRESSING in the bathroom,” another remarked. “I’d be running to the toilet then I’d cry.”
The “Love on Tour” concerts are known to have segments where Styles spotlights fan signs featuring proposals, coming out announcements or gender reveals.
Last week, Styles helped a fan announce the sex of her baby during his London show on Jun. 14 at Wembley Stadium.
He popped a balloon filled with pink confetti on stage and revealed, “We’re having a girl Wembley! I’m very excited.”
