Michael Rubin sets record straight on Tom Brady-Kim Kardashian buzz

Michael Rubin is calling fake news on the rumors that Tom Brady and Kim Kardashian might have a little bit of a thing going on.

The rumors started after Brady and Kardashian were among the dozens of A-listers at the annual Fourth of July gala thrown by Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics.

The Daily Mail reported that Brady, 45, and Kardashian, 42, were “super flirty” and seen dancing together at the shindig, but Rubin denies this was the case.

Kardashian and Brady are “just friends,” Rubin told “Entertainment Tonight” on Friday.

“It’s just the crazy rumors that get out there,” Rubin said.

“Tom was with me a ton of the night and we were having fun, and Tom just doesn’t go out that much. It’s a rare sighting. And Kim doesn’t drink much.

“So I think Kim’s 10 or 12 shots she had, [and] Tom, you know, being fun, it just leads to rumors. We always want to laugh about it.”

Brady and supermodel Gisele Bündchen divorced last year, and Kardashian is also single.

Page Six also had sources earlier this month saying that Brady and Kardashian were in no way romantically linked.

“He was talking to different women,” one source told Page Six.

“Kim and Tom are friends and have a lot of respect for each other.”

Brady retired from the NFL in early February.

Although this was the second straight season Brady has retired, he’s been adamant that there will not be another unretirement.

“I’m certain I’m not playing again, so I’ve tried to make that clear and I hate to continue to profess that because I’ve already told people that lots of times — but I’m looking forward to my broadcasting job with Fox next year,” Brady told Sports Illustrated last month.

In the meantime, Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen will remain Fox’s top NFL team for at least this upcoming season.
