McDonald’s is bringing back a divisive fan favorite — after saying it was gone for good

And now, for some really im-pork-ant news.

After giving the McRib a grand “farewell tour” in 2022, McDonald’s has decided to bring back the love-it-or-hate-it classic sandwich for a limited-time only in November.

“It turns out not everyone was ready to say goodbye to the McRib,” a rep told The Post.

Fans of the world’s largest fast-food chain may be left struggling with trust issues upon receipt of the news, after being told over and over again last year that the pressed-pork, sauce-submerged sandwich would be leaving the menu forever.

“We have good news, and we have bad news,” the burger giant said last year, as Food & Wine reported.

“The elusive McRib is finally back… BUT this could be your last chance to get it.”

False alarm, apparently —fans will able to once again get their hands on the faux-becue fave at participating locations next month.

The sandwich, which features a seasoned, boneless pork patty smothered in sticky ‘cue sauce and piled with dill pickles and onion between a toasted bun, was first introduced to menus for a limited time in 1981.

It clocks in at 520 calories.

The item returned for the first time since 2012 in 2020, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

The nosh news has left some fans drooling — and others fuming. Food blogger @snackolator’s announcement of the return on their Instagram page generated a heated lamp discussion on the delicious subject.

“Like Cher it’s back!!!!” one fan wrote. “Thank the snack gods.”

Another agreed, typing, “Glad it’s not the last time we all can enjoy eating it too bad it’s not a permanent part of the menu.”

“There goes my diet.😂,” someone else joked.

Others, however, were not too pleased to hear the McRib is back on the menu.

“McSick is back,” a user laented.

One Instagrammer seconded, “Nah you just nasty if you eating this.”

The McRib isn’t the only thing returning to McDonald’s menus for a limited-time only this season.

The fast-food eatery has brought back a fan-favorite menu item, the spicy chicken McNuggets, for a limited time in participating restaurants, according to reports.

The nuggets, which are breaded in a crispy coating and spiced with aged cayenne and chili pepper, come in four sizes — 6, 10, 20, and 40 pieces.
