Eagles’ D’Andre Swift, Terrell Edmunds hilariously predict Phillies homer: ‘He hit the s–t’

Philadelphia is riding a sports high with the Phillies leading the NLCS 2-0 and the Eagles off to a 5-1 start headed into Week 7.

And those two worlds during Game 2 at Citizens Bank Park as Eagles players D’Andre Swift and Terrell Edmunds took in their first baseball game, with Bleacher Report capturing their experience that came with hilarious reactions.

The two NFL players were seated in the first row near home plate at the game — a 10-0 Phillies win over the Diamondbacks

The two talked to one another when Swift told Edmunds: “I want to see a home run” as a Diamondbacks outfielder Tommy Pham stepped up to the plate.

Swift quickly added, “Not right now, though.”

The clip later shows the two watching as Kyle Schwarber gets ready for an at-bat.

The Phillies have a 2-0 lead in the NLCS.

Edmunds could be heard predicting that Schwarber was ready to do something in his third-inning at-bat.

“He looks like he’s about to do damage, though. Bomb! I told you, I told you, I told you!” Edmunds exclaims as the two Eagles dap up one another.

“He hit the s–t out of the park,” Swift adds.

What Swift and Edmunds didn’t likely realize was the history they had been on hand to see that came with Schwarber’s two home runs in Game 2.

The Phillies slugger tied Yankees legend Reggie Jackson for most career home runs in the playoffs by a left-handed hitter with 18.

Regardless, Swift and Edmunds seemed to enjoy their experience at the game, and the video ends with both players expressing a desire to return to another contest.

“I didn’t know baseball games was a vibe like this though,” Edmunds says. “I gotta come back one of these though, for real.”

“For real,” Swift adds.
