Nuggets vs. Warriors pick
On Christmas Day, the Nuggets played host to the Warriors, securing a hard-fought 120-114 victory, thanks in large part to Nikola Jokic’s flawless performance at the free-throw line.
Jokic exhibited impeccable accuracy, going a perfect 18-for-18 from the charity stripe and concluding the game with an impressive stat line of 26 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists.
Jamal Murray also contributed significantly with 28 points, while Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 22 points.
Anticipating a recurring challenge for the Warriors in containing Jokic, the Nuggets are likely to adopt a strategy of slowing down the pace and capitalizing on their big man’s skills in the low post.
A closely contested battle is expected, and given Jokic’s dominance over Golden State’s frontcourt, the Nuggets seem poised to come out on top.
