Igor Shesterkin was selected to represent the Rangers at All-Star Weekend in Toronto from Feb. 1-3.

It’s the second time the Russian netminder has been chosen for the event in his five-year career and his second consecutive year representing the Blueshirts.

Shesterkin improved to 16-8-0 on the season after stopping 21 of the 22 shots he faced in the Rangers’ 4-1 rout of the Blackhawks on Thursday night.

After the win, Shesterkin owned a 2.75 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.

His 16 wins were tied with Florida’s Juue Saros for the third most in the NHL.

All 32 teams have one player chosen to compete in the All-Star Game. The NHL All-Star Fan Vote will select the remaining 12 players (eight skaters and four goalies).

Artemi Panarin, despite sitting fourth in the NHL in points, didn't earn the Rangers' initial All-Star selection.
