Bloody bra, razor and zip ties shown during trial for alleged co-conspirator in Jennifer Dulos murder

Jurors in Michelle Troconis’ trial were presented with a blood-soaked bra, razor and zip ties that were recovered from trash cans after she allegedly helped her former lover Fotis Dulos cover up the murder of his wife, Jennifer.

Other bloodied items shown to the jury on Tuesday included a Vineyard Vines shirt, a white T-shirt, a poncho, black gloves and a white bath towel that Fotis Dulos allegedly dumped in garbage cans in Hartford, Connecticut, in May 2019, The Hartford Courant reported.

Investigators believe that he tossed evidence of Jennifer Dulos’ murder into those bins and a storm drain in the city just hours after she vanished in New Canaan, Connecticut, State Police Sgt. Kevin Duggan testified on the trial’s eighth day.

On Monday, the jury saw security footage of Fotis Dulos driving his Ford F-150 down Albany Avenue in Hartford and placing objects in multiple trash cans along the street.

Dulos and Troconis allegedly disposed of 30 bags of items that day with the blood of his estranged wife found on some of the objects, police said.

Supervisory Assistant State’s Attorney Michelle Manning on Tuesday held up a poncho for the jury as Duggan testified that it was leaking a blood-like substance when police found it, according to the Courant.

Another video appeared to show Dulos tossing an envelope into a storm drain, as Troconis reaches down to the sidewalk near the sewer gate. However, her lawyer Jon Schoenhorn claims that she was simply trying to get rid of a piece of gum by wiping it on the sidewalk.

Dulos is believed to have killed Jennifer, the mother of his five children, in her garage in New Canaan after she dropped the kids off at school on May 24, 2019. Police said he waited for her to return home, attacked her and tried to clean up the scene before driving off with her body in another SUV.

Jennifer’s body has never been found.

Dulos killed himself at his mansion in Farmington in 2020 after he was charged in connection with her killing.

Troconis, 49, faces charges for allegedly helping him conceal the crime, including conspiracy to commit murder, evidence tampering and hindering prosecution.

Jurors previously heard from the Dulos family’s nanny, Lauren Almeida, who claimed in court that the parents were initially “nice to each other,” but their relationship soured when Jennifer Dulos found out about her husband’s affair with Troconis in March 2017, according to the Courant.

Troconis’ family has maintained that she is innocent.
