Swinging saved our relationship —put your ego aside, trust your partner and try it

They’re swinging into the New Year — and they want you to join them.

A British couple says regularly having sex with others has saved their relationship and they’re encouraging others to give it a go.

Jemma, 43, and Daz, 40, have been swinging for five years and believe it has strengthened the bond they share.

“It is probably something everyone should consider,” Jemma told Jam Press on Friday. “[It’s a way to] enhance your relationship and grow closer through mutual shared experiences.”

“You can also build more trust with your partner and overcome underlying jealousy, attachment, and ego issues,” the erotic Englishwoman enthused, before adding that it also helped boost her body confidence.

Jemma and Daz first began dating in 2014 and were monogamous for five years, before admitting that their eyes were “drawn elsewhere.”

The lusty lovers realized their relationship was “unlikely to go the distance” unless they seriously spiced up their sex lives, so they turned to swinging.

“Initially, the biggest challenge was jealousy,” Jemma admitted, saying she and Daz decided to ease themselves into the lifestyle by attending parties as voyeurs.

“For us, it was all about taking things slow,” she explained. “To see your partner first kissing another person, then maybe naked next to another person with light touching. It was around 12 months before we had our first full ‘couple swap’ experience.”

Jemma and Daz say they often get to know the other swingers they sleep with before they all go to bed together.

“People think this kind of lifestyle is an anonymous, one-and-done kind of arrangement, and I guess for some people it might be, but we really want to connect with couples first,” Jemma declared.

“[We] spend some time getting to know them and basically date them before anything sexual happens,” the blonde added, saying “the build-up is as much fun as the act.”

Jemma added that the swinging community is “relatively small,” so it often feels like they’re “catching up with a group of friends” when they head to a sex club or a swinging event.

The bawdy Brits are hopeful the community will soon expand — and are publicly putting themselves out there to break down stigmas about swinging.

“Be clear between you and your partner exactly what it is you’re looking to get out of it,” Jemma asserted. “We advise anyone considering it to discuss your feelings regarding any play after it’s happened to make sure you are both still fully invested and enjoying the journey.”

“You’re in this together,” she declared.
