Wild video shows plane passenger believed to be under the influence running across tarmac at LAX after exiting tarmac doors

Dramatic video captured the moment a passenger ran on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport, where he suffered minor injuries when he was collared by cops.

Footage posted online showed “a ticketed male passenger exited a security door at Bradley West Terminals, running into nearby taxiways,” according to Airline Videos.

In the clip, the man is seen darting between Singapore Airlines and American Airlines planes before several police cars and officers converge about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday.

“Airport Police intervened, resulting in a minor use of force detainment,” Airline Videos added about the incident Wednesday night.

The passenger, who has not been identified, suffered minor injuries, CBS Los Angeles reported.

Authorities believe he was under the influence of a substance during the incident, according to the outlet.

He was taken to a local hospital and was expected to be charged with trespassing after being discharged, the station added.

No airport operations were affected by the incident.

In 2021, a woman was captured on video being tackled to the ground as she tried to wave down a plane at LAX’s Southwest Airlines gate.

She was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries and a mental health evaluation.
