Nicole Ari Parker, Elizabeth Hurley take a tour of Italy at Tod’s reopening

The mood was made in Italy.

Tod’s celebrated the reopening of its elegant uptown flagship at 650 Madison Ave. with a cocktail reception for the cashmere-clad crowd, followed by a private dinner at The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges.

Diego Della Valle, president and CEO of Tod’s Group, and his brother Andrea, the vice president, welcomed Uma Thurman, Elizabeth and Damian Hurley, Allison Williams, Adrien Brody, Georgina Chapman, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and a few hundred fans of the brand to the Vachetta leather-lined space.

“Diego is an old friend of mine, and I’ve worn their shoes and their bags for years and years,” Elizabeth Hurley told Alexa.“Damian, my son, is just being introduced to them. I mean, look at it,” she said, waving at a wall of shoes and boots. “It’s perfect, and I want to get him everything in the store!”

“And Just Like That…” star Parker shared a similar sentiment. “I always loved their bags. They make a quality purse and I’m a purse girl,” said the actor, who was wearing head-to-toe Tod’s leather. “I love the crisp blazers and their beautiful slacks. They’re just so well done, and my body just responds to it.”

The boutique carries the house’s luxurious women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories and first-class footwear, from its famous Gommino handmade driving mocs to its Marlin Hyannisport rubber-soled boat shoes. The T Timeless collection, composed of bags, shoes and leather goods topped with a metal T logo, has pride of place on the Angelo Mangiarotti travertine table at the entrance.

The Upper East Side location, which underwent a major renovation and had a soft opening late last year, offers several services.

Customers can customize their Di bags — the handled shopper carried by everyone from Nicole Kidman to the late Princess Diana — by choosing the size and leather color, then adding a monogram or special lettering. Each bespoke product comes with a QR code that directs the owner to a digital passport page verifying its supply chain, materials, authenticity, production and compliance processes.

After all, Tod’s craftsmanship is without compromise.
