Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha, roasts NASCAR driver with savage ‘inches’ jab

Kyle Busch gave wife Samantha “a couple inches” and she took a mile.

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the 38-year-old driver reflected on the thrilling closing moments of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where Busch was part of a three-wide photo finish, placing third behind Ryan Blaney and race winner Daniel Suárez.

“Can’t get much closer than that. Needed a couple inches,” Busch posted on Instagram. “Fast @cheddarskitchen – @teamchevy car today, excited about the strength we’ve shown to start the year.”

As the “likes” piled up, Samantha — who has been married to Busch since 2010 — delivered a savage jab in the comments.

“I’ve been telling you that for almost 20 years,” she wrote alongside a zany face emoji.

Samantha’s remarks prompted some of Busch’s followers to do a double-take.

“No way she said that,” one Instagram user wrote.

Another fan posted, “Why did she have to end this man’s career like that 😂 so funny tho lol.”

The 32-year-old Suárez defeated Blaney, 30, by 0.003 seconds and Busch by 0.007.

Busch attempted to split the middle between Suarez and Blaney, forming a third row and nearly pulling off the aggressive maneuver to perfection.

“It was so damn close, man,” Suárez said, according to NASCAR.com. “It was so damn close. It was good racing. Ryan Blaney there, Kyle Busch, Austin Cindric also was doing a great job giving pushes. In the back straightaway, he didn’t push me because he knew I was going to (screw) his teammate, but, man, what a job.”

Busch added it was “good to see Daniel get a win.”

“We were helping each other, being Chevy team partners and working together there. Shows that when you do have friends and you can make alliances that they do seem to work, and that was a good part of today.”

Samantha, who shares two kids with Busch, also posted a message on social media following Sunday’s exciting conclusion.

“Welllll dang it that was close! Proud of this 🎱 team they’ve had strong cars back to back weekends, let’s keep this momentum rolling into Vegas,” she wrote on Instagram.

The next event takes place on Sunday, March 3, at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
