Kings vs. Nuggets pick

Two Western Conference playoff teams battle Wednesday in Denver when the Nuggets host the Sacramento Kings.

Denver is favored by 7.5 points on BetMGM Sportsbook and that feels about right.

The Nuggets have looked locked in after the All-Star Break and if they keep up that level of play Wednesday, they should win comfortably.

Each of Denver’s three wins post-All-Star Break have been by at least 15 points. Unsurprisingly, Nikola Jokic is playing excellent basketball, averaging 15 assists per game after the break while scoring at an incredibly efficient clip.

Add in the productive play of Aaron Gordon and Jamal Murray, and it looks like Denver is rounding into form as the playoffs near.

I also think the Nuggets will want to avoid getting swept by the Kings this season. Denver has lost the first three matchups, including two games just before the break, so I would imagine it would want to prove a point and get back on track.

Sacramento has played well entering this game having won three of its last four, but it still recently lost to the Pistons and won close against the Spurs, so there are cracks in the armor.
